(A) All animals, as required by KRS Chapter 258, shall be vaccinated for rabies and revaccinated for rabies at the expiration of the immunization period as certified by a veterinarian, or any person as may be qualified by state law.
(B) Any dog, cat or ferret reclaimed or adopted from the animal shelter must have a valid rabies vaccination. The purchase or issuance of a rabies voucher through a veterinarian shall constitute temporary compliance with this section until the expiration date of said voucher.
