Under the direction of the City Manager, the Building Inspector, upon notification from the permit holder or his or her agent, shall make those inspections required in the International Building Code, International Residential Code, International Plumbing Code, International Mechanical Code, International Fuel Gas Code, International Property Maintenance Code, International Existing Building Code, and the International Energy Conservation Code, and shall either approve that portion of the construction as completed, or shall notify the permit holder, or his or her agent, that the work fails to comply with the requirements of the Municipal Code.
