§ 96.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   CITY MANAGER. The City Manager or any other person authorized by the City Manager.
   DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS. The Public Works Director or any other person authorized by the Director of Public Works.
   PARK TREES. Trees, shrubs, bushes, and all other wood vegetation in public parks having individual names, and all areas owned by the city, or to which the public has free access as a park.
   PERSON. Any individual, firm, corporation, association, partnership, or any other entity.
   PUBLIC STREET or STREET. All roads, streets, avenues, boulevards, alleys, parkways, and other public rights-of-way, or any portion thereof, of the city.
   STREET TREES. Trees, shrubs, bushes, and all other wood vegetation on land lying between property lines on either side of all streets, avenues or ways within the city.
   TREE SIZE.
      (1)   Small trees: less than 25 feet in height at maturity.
      (2)   Medium trees: 25 to 40 feet in height at maturity.
      (3)   Large trees: over 40 feet at maturity.
