§ 30.045 PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR.
   (A)   The Public Works Director, as appointed by and under the direction of the City Manager, shall have general charge and control over all work and direct activities of the Public Works Department.
   (B)   The Public Works Department includes the Street Division, Collection Division, Recycling Division, Transfer Station Division, Cemetery Division, Parks Division, Ball Parks Division, Airport Division, and Swimming Pool Division. The Public Works Director shall consult with the Division Supervisors concerning problems, programs, and policies in force; provide technical advice to the City Manager and other city departments concerning public works programs and operating problems; organize, coordinate, direct, and supervise staff; participate in long-range planning; and investigate additional service areas.
