(A) The Fire Chief, as appointed by and under the direction of the City Manager, shall be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, administration and operation of the Fire Department.
(B) The Fire Chief shall have control over the property, implements and apparatus used by the Fire Department subject to the general and specific directives of the City Manager.
