(A) It shall be unlawful for any vehicle to be parked on the streets of the city, except where designated otherwise, for a period longer than 72 hours without the vehicle being moved.

(B) The governing body may, by resolution, entirely prohibit, or fix a time limit for, the parking and stopping of vehicles on any street, streets, or district designated by such resolution, and the parking, or stopping, of any vehicle in any such street, streets, or district, for a period of time longer than fixed in the resolution shall constitute a violation of this chapter.
