§ 174.050 PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   The following rules and regulations governing the operation and management of the village park and playground are hereby enacted as follows:
   (A)   Hours of operation. Use of parks and playgrounds is restricted to daylight hours, which shall be defined as being one-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset. The operation of the park pool shall be an exception to these hours of use.
   (B)   Vehicles and bicycles. No motorized vehicles, bicycles, or motorcycles except authorized maintenance vehicles shall be operated, ridden, or driven within the park or playground except designated driving or parking areas.
   (C)   Pets. Dogs and other domestic animals shall be kept under control at all times. All pets shall be kept on a leash not more than eight feet in length.
   (D)   Alcohol. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park or playground. Any person found with alcoholic beverages on his possession or using same shall be removed forthwith from the park and the beverages shall be confiscated.
   (E)   Behavior.
      (l)   No person shall engage in fighting, littering, gambling, soliciting, peddling, advertising, the use of profane language, or any other conduct which is deemed improper within the confines of the park or playground.
      (2)   All waste, trash, litter, garbage, or refuse shall be placed in proper receptacles.
      (3)   No person shall mark, deface, injure, tamper with, displace, or damage any building, table, fence, structure, equipment, or facility in the park or playground.
      (4)   No person shall damage, cut, carve, transplant or remove any tree or plant or injure the bark, or pick the flowers or seeds, of any tree or plant, nor shall any person attach any rope, wire, or other contrivance to any tree or plant.
      (5)   No person shall dig in or otherwise disturb grassy areas or in any other way injure or impair the natural beauty or usefulness of any area.
      (6)   No person shall fail to cooperate in maintaining restrooms in a neat and sanitary condition. No person over the age of five years shall use restrooms of the opposite sex.
   (F)   Shelter houses. Shelter houses shall be reserved by contacting the City Building at 293-352l.
   (G)   Fires. Fires are permitted in grills, firepits, and firerings.
   (H)   Fishing and hunting. Fishing is permitted 24 hours a day. Boats, however, will only be permitted on reservoir number two. Boats will only be permitted during daylight hours as defined in division (A) above. No hunting, trapping, or shooting or the use of firearms, bows and arrows, or fireworks are not permitted in the park or playground. Ice fishing is not permitted.
   (I)   Ball fields. The use of ball fields in the park is permitted unless posted as unfit for play. Scheduling shall be made through and with the Park Committee Chairman or at the village building.
