The Village Engineer shall review all preliminary and final subdivision plats and make determinations in the areas of design standards and engineering specifications, as stipulated in this chapter. When necessary, he or she shall cause copies of the preliminary plat, final plat and/or improvement plans to be forwarded to appropriate government agencies.
