The Village Board is vested with the following responsibilities in regard to subdivision control:
(A) Approval or disapproval of all preliminary and final plats referred to it by the Planning and Zoning Board;
(B) Approval or disapproval of all variations and exceptions recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board;
(C) Amendment of the regulations of this chapter when found necessary and desirable, as hereinafter provided; and
(D) Initiation of appropriate proceedings to enforce the provisions of this chapter.
