The village land subdivision regulations shall apply to all subdivisions of land, as defined herein, located within the village and within one and one-half miles of the corporate limits of the village, except those subdivisions of land which have had their preliminary plats approved by the Village Board prior to the effective date of the land subdivision regulation codified in this chapter.
