In a U-2 District, no dwelling house shall be erected or altered to accommodate or make provision for one family on a lot having an area of less than 8,500 square feet and an average width of less than sixty feet.
No dwelling for two families shall be erected unless the lot area per family is not less than 5,000 square feet. However, one single-family dwelling may be erected on any lot in a U-2 District separately owned at the time of the passage of this Zoning Code or on any numbered lot in a recorded subdivision that was on record in the office of the County Recorder at the time of the passage of this Zoning Code.
The set-back building line shall conform to the same set-back building line requirements of buildings in a U-1 District.
