Any owner, his or her agent, superintendent or contractor in charge of the work, architect, builder, plumber, carpenter, mason or electrician, or any other person who is employed to assist in the construction, who violates, aids or assists in violating or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter or any specification or requirement set up in the plats or plans of the owner, as submitted, shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
