(a) The fees for the license and registration for mechanical or electrically-operated amusement devices shall be paid at the time of issuance and shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) per device each year.
(b) For the purpose of this chapter, all licenses shall terminate on December 31 of each calendar year, and there shall be no prorating of the fee required by subsection (a) hereof.
