(a) No person shall discharge any air gun, rifle, shotgun, revolver, pistol, air gun, pellet gun, CO2 gun, dart gun, or other firearm or discharge any bow, arrow, or cross-bow, within the Municipality, except within the confines of a target range authorized and licensed by the Director of Public Safety and approved by the Chief of Police. This division (a) shall not apply to any activity sanctioned and supervised by the Mayfield School District.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree, and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 597.02.
