(a) Effective June 1, 1994, all owners of commercial and multiple dwelling properties within the City shall separate recyclable materials from refuse and provide for the collection thereof for recycling purposes.
(b) As used in this section, "recyclable materials" means newspapers, glass, aluminum containers, bi-metal containers, plastic milk jugs, plastic two-liter bottles or any other such materials designated for collection by the Service Director.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor, and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 597.02.
