547.11 MINORS CURFEW.
   (a)   No child under the age of 12 years shall loiter, idle, wander, stroll, play or be present in or upon the public streets, sidewalks, highways, roads, alleys, parks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement, recreation and entertainment, vacant lots, business establishments (whether open for business or not) or other unsupervised places, between the hours of darkness to 6:00 a.m. of the following day, unless accompanied by a parent, guardian or some responsible person 18 years of age or over, or by a member of his or her family 18 years of age or older, or unless such child has a legitimate excuse therefor.
   (b)   No child 12 to 15 years of age shall loiter, idle, wander, stroll, play or be present in or upon the public streets, sidewalks, highways, roads, alleys, parks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement, recreation and entertainment, vacant lots, business establishments (whether open for business or not) or other unsupervised places, between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. of the following day, unless accompanied by a parent, guardian or some responsible person 18 years of age or over, or by a member of his or her family 18 years of age or older, or unless such child has a legitimate excuse therefor.
   (c)   No child 16 or 17 years of age shall loiter, idle, wander, stroll, play or be present in or upon the public streets, sidewalks, highways, roads, alleys, parks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement, recreation and entertainment, vacant lots, business establishments (whether open for business or not) or other unsupervised places, between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. of the following day, unless accompanied by a parent, guardian or some responsible person 18 years of age or older, or unless such child has a legitimate excuse therefor.
   (d)   No parent or guardian of, or person in loco parentis to, any child described in division (a), (b) or (c) of this section, shall allow or permit such child to violate any of such divisions.
   (e)   Whoever violates division (a), (b) or (c) of this section shall be dealt with in accordance with Juvenile Court law and procedure.
   (f)   Whoever violates division (d) of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor, and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 597.02.
