The purpose of the International Property Maintenance Code, as adopted in Section 1393.01, is to provide minimum standards for maintenance, lighting, ventilation, heating, sanitation, fire prevention and protection, space, location, egress, rehabilitation, use and re-use of residential and nonresidential structures.
