1371.01 CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS.
Before proceeding with any work or construction under any building permit issued pursuant to this Building Code, or with the hauling of materials or fill to or from any lot or parcel of land in the City, a temporary driveway from the street to the building site shall be provided. Such driveway shall be constructed of coarse slag, stone, broken concrete or other masonry refuse, to a depth sufficient to provide a substantial base. The driveway shall extend from curb to excavation or beyond if necessary to prevent the tracking of mud onto the street by trucks or other equipment. At the sidewalk crossing, the driveway shall be filled to the level of the walk with fine aggregate or cinders and shall be maintained until a permanent driveway is installed. Sidewalks shall be kept free and passable at all times and the driveway crossing over the sidewalk shall be leveled and repaired at the end of each day.
