Any person desiring a house moving permit shall file an application therefor, in writing, with the Director of Buildings, as follows:
(a) If the application is for the moving of a building entirely within the City limits or is for the moving of a building into the City from another location, then the applicant shall supply the following information and the application shall be subject to approval by motion of Council before a permit is issued:
(1) The character and size of the building to be moved;
(2) The reason for moving;
(3) The use, purpose and occupancy for which the building or other structure is to be used;
(4) The location from which and to which the building is to be moved;
(5) A plot plan showing the proposed location of the building upon the property to which the building is to be moved;
(6) The streets on, over or through which it is desired to move the building, indicating exactly and in detail the route to be followed in moving; and
(7) Whether or not the building conforms to this Building Code, the Zoning Code and the architecture of the buildings in the immediate area in which it is to be placed.
(b) If the building to be moved is being moved from within or through the City to a location outside the City limits, the application shall contain the following information:
(1) The character and size of the building to be moved;
(2) The reason for moving;
(3) The locations from which and to which the building is to be moved;
(4) The streets on, over or through which it is desired to move the building, including exactly and in detail the route to be followed in moving. A copy of this information shall be given to the Police Chief by the applicant.
