(a) Every application for a housing license shall be on a form approved by the official charged with the enforcement of this Code. It shall state the name and address of the applicant, the nature and extent of his or her interest in the building for which the license is required, the name and address of the owner of the building, the location of the building, the number of the rooms therein, the number of dwelling units therein, the number of rooming unites therein and such other information as may be required by the official charged with the enforcement of this Code.
(b) The Director of Buildings shall cause a general inspection of the dwelling structure or rental unit.
