(a) All sign permit fees are payable upon the issuance of any permit and before the commencement of any work.
(b) If, for any reason, exact details for determination of sign permit fees cannot be furnished before commencement of any work, the Director of Buildings may issue a provisional permit by estimating the fees to be charged and allow work to proceed. When exact details of the work involved are obtainable, the permittee shall furnish the same to the Director of Buildings and the fees shall be adjusted accordingly. Such adjusted fees are payable at once and shall be paid before final inspection is made and the building is occupied.
(c) Fees for sign permits are as follows:
(1) | Signs up to 24 square feet in area | $50.00 |
(2) | Signs from 25 square feet to 60 square feet in area | 75.00 |
(3) | Signs over 61 square feet in area | 100.00 |
(4) | Signs changed for any reason: same fees as specified in paragraphs (d)(1), (2) and (3) hereof | |
(5) | Ground signs per face | $ 50.00 |
