The purpose of the Residential Code of Ohio for one, two and three-family dwellings, as adopted in Section 1313.01, is to provide minimum standards for the protection of life, limb, health, property and the environment and for the safety and welfare of the consumer, the general public and the owners and occupants of residential buildings regulated by such Code.
