(a) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by and for the Municipality the Ohio Building Code (OBC), current edition, based on the latest edition of the International Building Code as adopted by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, Department of Industrial Relations, and as published in Division 4101:1 to 4101:35 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), save and except such portions thereof as may be hereinafter amended or deleted.
(b) The current versions of Ohio Administrative Code 4101:1 (the Ohio Building Code) and Ohio Administrative Code 4101:2 (the Ohio Mechanical Code), and Ohio Administrative Code 4101:3 (The Ohio Plumbing Code and Medical Gas Code), as promulgated by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, shall apply and be enforced within the City of Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
