(a) There is hereby created in the unclassified service of the City, the position of Assistant Building and Zoning Inspector-I, in the Division of Inspection. Such Assistant Building and Zoning Inspector-I shall be certified and/or licensed by the appropriate agency of the State of Ohio and shall be well qualified to assume the duties and carry out the responsibilities of the Building and Zoning Inspector in his absence or disability and assume such other responsibilities and perform such other duties as shall be from time to time designated or assigned by the Building and Zoning Inspector or the Director of Public Safety.
(b) There is hereby created in the unclassified service of the City, the position of Assistant Building and Zoning Inspector-II, in the Division of Inspection. Such Assistant Building and Zoning Inspector-II shall be certified and/or licensed by the appropriate agency of the State of Ohio and shall be well qualified to perform skilled inspection work in enforcing compliance with the Building Code, Zoning Code and Housing Code and perform such other duties as may be directed by the Building and Zoning Inspector or the Director of Public Safety.
