The Division of Inspection, under the direction of the Director of Public Safety, shall have charge of all alteration, repair, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location and maintenance of buildings and structures, including administering the Building Code, Zoning Code and Housing Code, and perform such other duties not inconsistent herewith, as Council by ordinance may prescribe or as directed by the Director of Public Safety.
