(a) When the holder of a fire safety permit has received a notice of violation of the Fire Safety Code and has failed or refused to correct such violation in accordance with the requirements of the notice, then the Fire Chief or the Chief of the Fire Prevention Bureau shall cause a notice of suspension or revocation to be served on the fire safety permit holder in the manner provided by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any person who has received a notice of suspension or revocation of a fire safety permit may file an appeal from such order to the Board of Appeals on Fire Prevention pursuant to Section 1501.13.
(b) No person, firm, corporation, or business that has received a notice of suspension or revocation of a fire safety permit shall fail or refuse to comply with the terms of the notice of suspension or revocation.
