1501.31 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS.
   (a)    Permanent installation of LP-Gas containers is prohibited in any area except where approved by the Bureau of Fire Prevention. Temporary use of any LP-Gas must be approved by the Bureau of Fire Prevention.
 
   (b)    It shall be the responsibility of any LP-Gas supplier or dealer to certify the competence and training of company driver-delivery service men. Violations by LP-Gas dealers and/or employees shall be cause for revocation of license.
 
   (c)    The Bureau of Fire Prevention shall have authority to order the tank installation to be enclosed with suitable fencing and/or traffic barricades to protect the public or prevent tampering when it is deemed advisable, and the Bureau of Fire Prevention shall also specify how the tank is to be supported for safety, with concurrence from the Building and Zoning Inspector..
 
   (d)    The use of portable LP-Gas trailers for on-site construction use shall meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; proper stop lights and brakes shall be provided. All such trailers shall be inspected by the Bureau of Fire Prevention.
 
   (e)    Advice and instructions as to safe use of LP-Gas appliances and related equipment shall be provided in printed form to all customers by each LP-Gas dealer, distributor, and installer.
 
   (f)    Underground tank container systems shall be permitted in the City.
