1501.15 REPORTING FIRES TO PROPER AUTHORITY.
   (a)    Any person having knowledge of a fire which occurred whether accidental or otherwise, in which property of value was destroyed, shall communicate this information to the Fire Prevention Bureau of the Fire Division within twenty-four hours, in order that proper investigation of the facts may be pursued promptly.
 
   (b)    Any person having knowledge of an attempt to set or actual setting of a fire involving property, whether a loss was actually sustained or not, shall report same immediately to the Fire Prevention Bureau or the Division of Police.
