1335.07 STANDARDS OF APPROPRIATENESS.
No certificate of appropriateness shall be issued for any construction, reconstruction or alteration involving any exterior architectural feature of any structure unless the Board, by a majority vote of the members present at a meeting at which a quorum is present, finds that any exterior architectural feature involved in the proposed construction, reconstruction or alteration will be appropriate, that is, any exterior architectural featuare involved, when constructed, reconstructed or altered, will not be so obviously incongruous with either the architectural appeal or functional plan of the structures already existing, or in the course of completion, in the immediate neighborhood within the Old Maumee Architectural District, as to cause a substantial depreciation in property values within the immediate neighborhood.
