1305.03.1 TEMPORARY CERTIFICATE OF QUALIFICATION.
A temporary Certificate of Qualification may be issued to a trades person in the building construction industry. If the applicant meets the qualifications listed in this chapter in his or her trade, completes registration and pays the proper fees for the next scheduled exam, a temporary certificate may be issued. The temporary certificate would be valid only until the Board issues the results of the exam. If the applicant successfully passes the exam, the fees would be used toward fees for issuance of the certificate. If the applicant should fail the exam, the fees would be forfeited. If the applicant should fail to appear for the scheduled exam, the temporary certificate will expire on the date of the exam.
An applicant who fails to obtain a grade of seventy percent (70%) or more on the prescribed examination may be re-examined after a period of six months has elapsed upon submitting a new application and fee as required for new applicants.
