966.02 PROHIBITED STREET TREES.

   No person shall plant as a street tree any of the trees from the following list:

   (a)   Acer saccharinum, silver maple;

   (b)   Populus species, poplar species (cottonwood);

   (c)   Salix species, willows species;

   (d)   Ailanthus altissima, tree of heaven;

   (e)   Gleditsia triacanthos, honey locust-thorn bearing;

   (f)   Crataegus species, hawthorn-thorn bearing;

   (g)   Betula species, birch species;

   (h)   Ulmus pumila, siberian elm;

   (i)   Acer negundo, boxelder;

   (j)   Morus species, mulberry species;

   (k)   Robinia pseudoacacia, black locust;

   (l)   Cercis canadensis, red bud;

   (m)   Elgeagnus angustifolia, russian olive;

   (n)   Prunus species, cherry, peach, plum and other fruit bearing trees; and

   (o)   Pyrus calleryana 'Bradford', bradford pear.
