957.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them:
   (a)   "Garbage" means putrescible animal and vegetable wastes resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of food.
      "Rubbish", "refuse" and "trash" means all putrescible and nonputrescible waste other than garbage.
   (b)   "Used building materials" means any materials such as wood, stone, brick, cement block or any composition thereof, used or useful, in the erection of any building structure, which have been used previously for such erection or construction.
   (c)   "Junk motor vehicle" means any motor vehicle which is:
      (1)   Extensively damaged, such damage including but not limited to any of the following: a broken window or windshield, missing wheels, tires, motor or transmission;
      (2)   Apparently inoperable; and
      (3)   Having a fair market value of five hundred dollars ($500.00) or less.
   (d)   "Collector's vehicle" means any motor vehicle or agricultural tractor or traction engine of special interest having a fair market value of one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more, whether operable or not, that is owned, operated, collected, preserved, restored, maintained or used essentially as a collector's item, leisure pursuit or investment, but not as the owner's principal means of transportation.
   (e)   "Automobile and motor vehicle parts" means any portion or parts of any motor driven vehicle as detached from the vehicle as a whole.
   (f)   "Scrap metal" means pieces of and parts of steel, iron, zinc, copper, aluminum or any alloy thereof whether intact or in part, which has served its usefulness for its original intended purpose.
