927.36 PROHIBITION ON UNPOLLUTED WATER IN SANITARY SEWERS.
   No person, entity, business, corporation, governmental agency, trustee, or any other entity shall discharge or cause to be placed or discharged any stormwater, surface water, groundwater, roof runoff, yard drainage, subsurface drainage, driveway drainage, uncontaminated cooling water, or polluted industrial process waters into any sanitary sewer, directly or indirectly. Any existing roof drain, footer drains, sump pumps or any combination thereof connections to sanitary sewers shall be connected into an available storm sewer or shall be disconnected above ground in the manner approved by the Service Director. The owner of any building situated within the City shall be required, at their expense, to disconnect all existing roof drains, sump pumps or other clean water connections from sanitary sewers in accordance with the provisions of Maumee code and Ordinances and in accordance with EPA rules and regulations, all of which require immediate disconnection from the sanitary sewer system.
