921.02 WATER FURNISHED OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS.
   Upon the approval of Council, water may be furnished by the Division of Water upon application to the Department of Public Service on forms prescribed by it to territory outside of the City limits on the conditions hereinafter set forth. Before any such application shall be granted and the water mains, lines, pipes, or conduits of the City connected with lines outside of the City limits, the Director of Public Service shall approve the size, character, and location of such lines and the person, firm, corporation, political subdivision, or part thereof owning or controlling such lines or pipes in public highways or thoroughfares shall agree that if the territory in which such lines or pipes are located is thereafter annexed to the City, upon such annexation, such water lines, pipes, and conduits shall become the property of the City without any cost or expense to the City, and any right, title, or interest of any other party therein or thereto shall then cease and terminate. Compliance with the foregoing conditions shall be deemed consideration for any application to furnish water outside of the City limits and for the furnishing of such water.
