374.03 DISPLAY OF LICENSE; ALTERATION; MUTILATION.
   (a)   The license shall be prominently affixed to the frame of the bicycle at all times in such a place where it is clearly visible. It shall be a violation of this chapter for any person to intentionally alter, mutilate or deface or obfuscate any license or registration card which shall have been issued in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
   (b)   The registration card which shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of this chapter shall be shown to any police officer on demand or when the holder thereof is ordered to appear for violation of the provisions of any law or ordinance pertaining to the operation or registration of bicycles.

   (c)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
