(a) No person shall drive or operate any vehicle in any of the public parks within or under the jurisdiction or control of the City at a rate of speed in excess of ten miles per hour.
(b) The Director of Public Safety is hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signs along the public drives or roadways in such parks in conformity with the provisions of this section. (1964 Code 74.06)
(c) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
