§ 50.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   Any person violating any portion of § 50.01 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punishable by a fine not in excess of $200 per day until corrected. Written notice shall be given to the offender, and he or she shall have 30 days in which to comply.
   (C)   Any person or entity who omits or refuses to comply with § 50.02, in any part, or participates in the violation hereof shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by the Municipal Court of the city, and, upon the conviction, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $200. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense hereunder.
   (D)    Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provision of § 50.03 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by fine not to exceed $500 plus cost of repairing the equipment. It is hereby declared that the culpable mental state required by the Tex. Penal Code Ch. 6.02 is specifically negated and clearly dispensed with, an offense under § 50.03 was declared to be a strict liability offense.
