§ 34.093 ISSUANCE OR DENIAL OF LICENSE.
   (A)   Upon receipt of an application for an ambulance service license, the Fire Chief shall cause an investigation of the applicant and the proposed operations. Such investigation shall be completed within 15 business days from receipt of the application and license fee unless the ambulance service agrees to an extension of time.
   (B)   The Fire Chief shall approve the issuance of an ambulance service license to the applicant unless the Fire Chief determines, after reasonable investigation, that the applicant or the staff proposed to be used by the applicant, or a vehicle or vehicles proposed to be used by the applicant do not meet the requirements of this subchapter, or other provisions of this code.
   (C)   Each license shall be issued to the person named in the application for the ambulances and locations specified in the application. The license may not be transferred or assigned to any other person other than as indicated in § 34.100.
   (D)   A copy of each license issued by the Fire Chief shall be filed with the City Clerk.
