No person shall carry concealed upon or about his person any pistol, revolver, derringer, switchblade, knife, dirk, slingshot, metallic knuckles, or a razor as a weapon, or any other deadly weapon of like character, capable of being concealed upon the person, or shall in a threatening or boisterous manner flourish or display the same. This section does not apply to peace officers while in the discharge of their official duties.
