(A) Public parks shall be open for general public use between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. only; provided, however, that programs or events sponsored or approved by the city, or for which a city permit has been issued, the hours of operation may be extended during any such program or event and for a period of 60 minutes following the conclusion of such program or event. Signs stating park hours shall be posted prominently in each park.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to be present within the confines of a public park at a time other than allowed by this chapter.
