(A) It is a misdemeanor for any person to do any act forbidden or fail to perform any act required in this chapter.

(B) Every person convicted of a violation of any provision of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not more than $10 or by revocation of such person's bicycle license tag for a period not to exceed six months or by impounding of such person's bicycle for a period not to exceed 30 days or any combination thereof.
