§ 38.01 PUBLIC RECORDS AVAILABLE; FEES.
   (A)   Interested persons may secure copies of any nonexempt public record by written request from the City Clerk's office located at City Hall, 208 North 19th Street, second floor, with the exception of police records.
   (B)   Police records which are not otherwise privileged may be secured from the Police Chief's office located at City Hall, 208 North 19th Street, first floor.
   (C)   Such persons that request to the City Clerk's office or Police Chief's office, City Hall, 208 North 19th Street, Mattoon, Illinois 61938 specifying in particular the records requested to be disclosed and copied. If said person desires records be certified, it must be indicated in the request and specify which records must be certified. Records may be inspected Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
   (D)   (1)   The fees for any such records, if the person requesting the records wishes them copied are as follows:
         (a)   $.75 per page.
         (b)   Postage fees will be charged on all materials mailed.
      (2)   All fees are due upon receipt of copies. Copies that are to be mailed will be held until payment is received.
