§ 31.06 ACCOUNT OF MONEYS RECEIVED.
   All officers collecting any moneys belonging to the city shall immediately pay over the same to the City Treasurer, and shall at the first regular meeting in each month present a full, itemized and true statement of all amounts received during the preceding calendar month, attaching thereto a duplicate receipt of the City Treasurer. Any officer failing to so turn over any funds collected by him, or failing to make an account as above required, shall be subject to a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $100.
