The Village Clerk shall refer such application to the Village Building Commissioner or his or her designee for an investigation and inspection to determine whether the application and the premises conform to the requirements of this subchapter. The Village Building Commissioner or his or her designee shall report the results of his or her investigation to the Clerk, and if such report is favorable, the Clerk shall issue a license.
