This subchapter shall be known as the “Motel and Hotel Operating Subchapter”. Its purpose is to establish minimum standards for the operation of motels and hotels in order to minimize contagion, provide safe and sanitary facilities, and otherwise promote and protect the public health, safety, comfort and general welfare.
