§ 96.01 EMISSION OF DENSE SMOKE.
   The emission of dense smoke within the municipality from the smoke stack of any locomotive, steam roller, steam derrick, tar kettle or any similar machine or contrivance, or from the smoke stack or chimney of any building or premises, is declared a nuisance and unlawful, and may be summarily abated by the Health Commissioner or by any one whom he or she may duly authorize for such purpose. Such abatement may be in addition to the fine hereinafter provided.
