Private drainage lines carrying only stormwater or ground water may be connected to the storm sewer system, as approved by the Superintendent of Public Works. Wherever possible, such drainage shall enter into a catch basin, and shall be required to enter a catch basin or lead to a catch basin where sand, silt, stone or debris is carried with the water.
