Whenever a building is a dangerous building under section 1-2 for a period of five days after notice of said condition has been issued in accordance with section 6-74 the city may board up the building or take such other action as may be feasible and necessary to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the city. The costs and their recovery shall be governed by section 6-82.
