Sec. 82-217. Falsifying information.
Any person who knowingly makes any false statements, representation or certification in any application or certification in any application, record, report, plan or other document filed or required to be maintained pursuant to this article or a wastewater contribution permit, or who falsifies, tampers with or knowingly renders inaccurate any monitoring device or method required under this article, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and may be subject to the provisions of 18 USC 1001 relating to fraud and false statements and the provisions of section 309(c)(4) of the Act, as amended, governing false statements, representation or certification. For the purpose of this section, the term "person" means, in addition to the definition contained in section 502(5) of the Act, any responsible corporate officer.
