(a) A cross connection between a public water system and other systems or equipment is prohibited.
(b) A cross connection shall not be made between a public water supply system and a secondary water supply.
(c) A cross connection shall not be made by submerged inlet.
(d) A cross connection shall not be made between a public water supply and piping which may contain sanitary waste or a chemical contaminant.
(e) A cross connection shall not be made between a public water supply system and piping immersed in a tank or vessel which may contain a contaminant.
